Tonidius from Germany - What is USA???

Dear America,
I got this blog from a friend of me in America. At first I don't know what I should write here. Honestly, I didn't live in USA just one day so it's hard to know what the people there think and what the life there is. But here are some opinions from me, from the people who don't live in USA.

I don't like politics, but the way USA using politics on others countries are really bad actions. What do they think they are??? They think they have right to kill the people?? They think they have right to judge the freedom in another countries??? They think they have right to do what they want in this world??? Back to Vietnam's war, and look at now to what happens in Middle East. They are the same. USA just make some reasons for the war so that the people in USA think that they have right. But the world is not blind like the people who are living in USA. The politics in USA make people blind and just heard to government. They almost don't have their own opinions for what happens in this world. They think that they have to get freedom for another the country and they are proud of that. They don't think that its own problems of those countries. I know that in USA, the people don't really have a freedom like they talk on television or on communicating system. They still don't have their own freedom in their own home how can they go out and take freedom for others??? They gain and blow the ethnic's grudge in each country they want to set a war. They use those country's people to fight to their own people(the obvious example is the war in Iraq). In addition, do you know where the weapons of these war are from?? From USA. They deal with both sides and run their weapon company.....

I got shock 5 years ago when the WTC in New York was down by 2 planes. We still didn't know all the truth of this attack. But in the point of this attack, I just asked, why?? Why not in another country but in New York-USA??? Many people in Midde East have celebrated for that??? Why the people do that?? They celebrate for the unhumanity-act??? There are so many and many questions I got, but cant find out the answers. And its not my problem though. Just thought, USA would have to be so arrogant and put their a** in the sides of the peoples in the countries they have made a war before they make another mistakes...not only American's lives are worth but also others lives are worth too, because we are all HUMAN...

    Tonidius,

We had to stop Saddam from mass-murdering people and invading other countries so that Iraqis would have a future full of freedom and prosperity, just like we had to stop Hitler from mass-murdering people and invading other countries so that Germans would have a future full of freedom and prosperity. Get it?

Your idea that we Americans don't have freedom is just plain nuts. You simply don't know what you're talking about.

I think he's talking about our inability to own firearms(nope, no school shootings in Germany), change lanes on the freeway(keep to the right!), talk on the cell/'handy' phones while driving(illegal!), or buy things like aspirin or cold pills at ordinairy stores(sorry, pharmacy ONLY, mr. I have a headache)!.

I love how people "know" so much about America.

    Tonidius,
well said. dont mind them, i think you are very brave to come out and say what a majority of the world is thinking.
tantor- 'We had to stop Saddam from mass-murdering people and invading other countries...'- yes, great idea, by taking over that country, amungst others, and mass murdering even more people.... (not to mention stealing oil and money ect) i wish i had the statistics for civilian deaths in iraq by american hands, but last i checked they were much higher than anything you could imagine. horrific. so, ya great job on that one, valient, just... thank you
brooklynjon- stop being such a racist... everyone has a right to an opinion, no matter what their previous gov did at a time they wernt even born. hopefully the rest of the world will be able to forgive america in the future for what it is doing now. hopefully then your children will be able to voice their opinions without hypocrites judging them for what their ancestors did. that goes for you too tantor for your wise arse comparison of germany and iraq. totally different things by the way.
mark & prost- im sory to say despite possibly being the most powerful and wealthy nation in the world, america has some of the worst rates of poverty in the 1st world. the youths enjoy murders, bullying and generally weak education, rating overall one of the most unhappy places for youths to live. health servise- rates one of the worst in the 1st world too. its all good and dandy for the rich, but if you dont have the cash, you life isnt worth saving. great ethics for the oh so ethical nation that is the US. racism too is still thriving in so many forms. dont want to go into it but- example, new orleans, i visited it a few months ago, its as if the tornado hapened yesterday, nothing, i mean nothing has been done to rebuild it. ziltch, nada, neit. and poeple are still living there, in the squalor,,upside down houses for gods sake,, you just dont expect this from the country that goes out to 'protect' the freedom of other countries- sort out your own shit first. god knows this is just off the top of my head... so many more examples, later maybe, but your country is just as shitty as the rest of us, so get down from that pedistal and stop being so blindly patriotic that you dont see how much suffering your people have to put with. then, and only then you can go out to ease the suffering of others, when you have learnt that violence is not an answer. ever.

"when you have learnt that violence is not an answer. ever."

Wrongo, pal. Violence *is* sometimes an answer. Grow up and leave your marshmallow world.

Dude. What the hell are you smoking? The weapons being used in Iraq are Russian, Iranian, Chinese, and European. If you didn't know by now, the US military doesn't use AK47's.

Try getting your facts straight before spouting such BS.

First off, i didn't read the whole thing. And I agree that America doesn't have the right to do what we are doing. but, also, not all americans believe we do. Trust me, I know, america is huge and there are millions upon millions of uneducated people , but It seems there are more people like this than in other countries, but im sure percentage wise its just about normal. THere are plenty of people in america especially in the east and California (the more liberal states) that are totally and completely against what america is doing and totally and completely against Bush. Someone said in a comment "look up irony" and, you know what, FIne, they said it, but the thing is just like you have nothing to do with what happened in the past, we HAve NOTHing to do with what is going ON NOW. we had no say in the war, had no choice, no vote, no nothing. we cant stop bush or anyone , because now its too late. there was nothing the american public could do about it. and maybe you are RIGHt about the freedom. we have so much freedom that it no longer exists. lke school-now we are forced/required. i mean, there are so many contradictionss in america, its horrible.

  10. # Anonymous lol

    @ anonymous,

you, as being anonymous, think thats its brave to say what the majority thinks?

I mean, come on, you got something wrong here, no?

I think New Jersey has many signs saying keep right, pass left. Driving on the right lane is means at least freedom on the left lane! :)
